E-Library is working in the library since 2004. Initially it had P1V Computers. Then in 2009 Core-2 Duo Computers replaced the old computers. Now It is relocated to a new location with newly furnished hall. It has twenty terminals having Core-I3 and Core-2 Duo computers. A backbone of 50 Mbps Broadband Internet Connection is available in the section. This Library Section is opened for all members and non-members of this library. Anyone amongst the library users can use services of this section like Internet and Word Processing. People can get printouts of their documents too. All the services are provided at nominal charges. Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is also working on intergrated library software/open source software Koha & library repository D-Space. Govt. Punjab Public Library's bibliographic data is also available on KOHA. A Server has been installed for this purpose. It comprises of appx. 200,000 books in English, Urdu, Persian, Arabic and Punjabi languages.
